The YARDMAX YG4760 is a heavy-duty 24-inch self-propelled lawn mower built for homeowners who want more cutting width and power than a standard 21-inch machine can offer. At its core is a 201cc OHV YARDMAX engine with an automatic choke system that eliminates the need for priming or manual choking before starting, making every startup quick and straightforward. The rear-wheel drive system gives it strong traction on uneven and sloped terrain, and all four wheels are equipped with double ball bearings that enhance both maneuverability and long-term durability through repeated use.
What sets the YG4760 apart from most mowers in its class is its continuously variable transmission, a feature YARDMAX describes as industry leading among walk-behind mowers. Unlike traditional fixed-speed self-propel systems that force you to walk at a preset pace, the CVT automatically adapts to your natural walking speed, giving you smooth and seamless control without constant adjustments. Combined with the wider 24-inch cutting path, this translates to noticeably faster mowing times on larger properties compared to standard residential mowers.
The deck offers full 3-in-1 versatility, supporting mulching, rear discharge, and rear bagging to suit different grass conditions and personal preferences. Whether you want to return nutrients back into the lawn through mulched clippings, collect them neatly in the bag, or discharge them out the rear, the YG4760 handles all three with ease. It is a capable, well-equipped machine designed to deliver a clean and even cut season after season, making it a compelling option for homeowners who take their lawn care seriously.
