The NEO-TEC NS892V is a professional-grade 92cc gas chainsaw power head engineered for serious heavy-duty cutting tasks that demand real power and durability. Built with full compatibility with MS660, 066, and G660 chainsaw parts, it delivers 5.2kW of working power equivalent to 7 horsepower through a two-stroke air-cooled engine that NEO-TEC claims runs up to 20 percent more powerfully than comparable models in its class. The versatile power head accepts guide bars ranging from 24 to 42 inches, using a 3/8-inch chain pitch and 0.063-inch chain gauge, making it adaptable to a wide range of cutting jobs from limbing and pruning all the way up to felling large timber.
Durability and build quality are central to what sets this chainsaw apart from budget alternatives. Key components including the cylinder, crankcase, and starter housing are constructed from magnesium alloy rather than plastic, offering superior impact resistance, faster heat dissipation, and better rigidity under sustained heavy use. A high-quality HLHIC carburetor handles precise fuel and air mixing with automatic atomization for consistently easy starting and efficient fuel utilization, while a Taiwan crankshaft, chrome-plated cylinder, and high-performance ignition coil round out an internally solid build. The upgraded Plus Handle Bar with full wrap design improves ergonomics and operator control significantly, reducing fatigue and cutting accident risk during prolonged or difficult cutting sessions.
Practical convenience features include a side-access chain tensioner that allows precise and easy chain tension adjustment without tools, and a fuel tank capacity of 825ml alongside a 360ml oil tank that keeps the bar and chain lubricated through extended cuts. Included in the box are the power head, a bar cover, handle tank guard protection plate, tool kit, fuel mixing bottle, and instruction manual, giving you everything needed to get started once your preferred guide bar and chain are attached.
