The Anker SOLIX Smart Generator 5500 is a versatile backup power solution designed for home emergencies, outdoor use, and off-grid power needs. Its tri-fuel system allows it to run on gasoline, propane, or natural gas, giving users more flexibility when choosing an available fuel source. With smart app controls, multiple starting options, and compatibility with the Anker SOLIX E10 energy storage system, it provides a convenient way to maintain power during outages.
The generator delivers 3,600 watts of rated AC power and up to 5,500 watts of starting power. When connected to a compatible Anker SOLIX E10 system, it can also provide up to 4,500 watts of DC output to recharge the energy storage system. This makes it useful for extending backup power when battery reserves are running low.
The Smart Generator 5500 supports remote monitoring and control through the Anker app using Wi-Fi or Bluetooth. Users can check operating status, fuel levels, runtime, and charging information, as well as start, stop, or schedule operation. It also supports automatic starting when connected to a compatible energy storage system.
Designed for outdoor use, the generator features a weather-resistant NEMA 3R enclosure, protective covers, and a built-in water sensor that shuts the unit down when water rises above its specified detection level. ECO, Quiet, and Turbo operating modes help users select settings according to their power requirements. Additional features include electric start, recoil start, wheels, and a built-in pull handle for easier movement.
